BREVE BIOGRAFIA: The Austin si formano a inizio 2008 dall’idea di Marco e Ale , rispettivamente chitarrista e batterista , rimasti “orfani” dalla loro precedente esperienza musicale , i John Hawkwood , gruppo emergente savonese . Tirandosi dietro Francesco , altro chitarrista dei vecchi John , riacquistano un amico di lunga data , un altro Francesco , sta volta però bassista . I quattro , col nome di The Austin (con nessun riferimento alla città in Texas e nemmeno con Austin Power) iniziano a fare i primi concerti nei pub di Savona e dintorni . Dopo pochi mesi Fra , il chitarrista , lascia il gruppo per dedicarsi allo studio . Rimasti in tre i The Austin , registrano la prima demo di quattro canzoni . Da quest’ultima si può sentire il loro sound rockeggiante ma allo stesso tempo , funky e melodico. Grazie alla prima demo i The Austin fanno i primi passi in realtà non savonese e fuori Liguria .
